Service/Warranty Technician

About the role

Home Genius Exteriors is seeking an experienced Service/Warranty Technician to handle residential repair and service needs for exterior home improvement products. The ideal candidate works independently, solves problems quickly, and maintains professional communication with homeowners.

Key responsibilities

• Complete residential service and warranty repairs across a variety of exterior home improvement products.
• Perform detailed field inspections and document findings with written briefs and photos.
• Troubleshoot issues and develop practical, on‑site solutions.
• Communicate directly with homeowners to resolve concerns efficiently.
• Coordinate and oversee repairs while maintaining high quality standards.
• Manage service timelines with urgency and proactive follow‑through.
• Maintain strong organization and communication with internal teams.

Required profile

• Previous business ownership, management, or supervisory experience (strongly preferred).
• Strong general repair and troubleshooting abilities across multiple trades.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Experience handling customer conflict resolution professionally.
• Strong written communication skills for inspection summaries and reporting.
• Must provide own tools and have reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license.
• Strong sense of accountability, urgency, and professionalism.

• Base salary of $70,000 per year plus bonuses.
