Service Training Specialist – Technician Experience

About the role

KONE is seeking a Service Training Specialist to develop the next generation of elevator technicians and supervisors. You will leverage extensive field experience to design and deliver training programs that cover service, maintenance, repair methods, and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and conduct technical training programs for technicians, both new and existing service methods.
• Identify competency gaps with Service Operations leaders and create targeted learning solutions.
• Develop and localize training materials, job aids, assessments and procedures for regional needs.
• Coach technicians and frontline leaders to support operational‑excellence initiatives.
• Maintain training records, assess effectiveness and support certification programs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in the elevator industry.
• Proven track record of mentoring, coaching or developing elevator technicians and supervisors.
• Strong knowledge of service operations, field processes and digital tools used in elevator maintenance.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
