Service Technician – The Julia

About the role

The Service Technician for The Julia will be responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property, its grounds, amenities and common areas. Working on a full‑time basis, you will ensure that all resident requests and preventative maintenance tasks are completed safely and to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders generated from resident service requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing them in line with safety standards, company policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors and contractors.
• Schedule and oversee external vendors, obtain necessary supplies, and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and follow up on any outstanding issues.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and maintenance manuals.
• Strong attention to safety, policy compliance and local building codes.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with residents, vendors and internal teams.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and lift equipment as needed.
