Service Technician – Preventive Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to join Allegion’s security solutions team in Vallejo, CA. You will be responsible for keeping a range of door and access control equipment operating safely and efficiently for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and routine preventive maintenance on contracted equipment, including inspection, adjustment, cleaning and calibration.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support contract retention.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry developments, new products and technology.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED and a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Associate degree in an electrical, mechanical or industrial field is preferred but training will be provided.
• Experience in construction, electrical work, or servicing automated doors and glazing is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• AAADM certification (or willingness to obtain).
