Service Technician – Luxe at Mile High

About the role

The Service Technician – Luxe at Mile High ensures that the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety and functionality. This full‑time position works on resident service requests, preventative maintenance and move‑in preparations.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays on call.
• Compliance with Greystar safety policies, including OSHA training and incident reporting.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart when required.

Required skills

• EPA Type I, II and Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Proficiency in mechanical repair, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Competence with hand and power tools used in building maintenance.
