Service Technician

About the role

Honda of Harvey is seeking a certified Service Technician to join our clean, safe, temperature‑controlled dealership environment. You will work directly with Service Advisors and customers to diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems while ensuring high quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repair work efficiently according to dealership policies and repair orders.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; conduct test drives.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional service needs.
• Complete online multi‑point inspection reports.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as an automotive technician.
• Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Fast learner with good written and verbal communication.
• Strong customer service orientation and team player attitude.
• Own tools and toolbox.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Use of diagnostic tools and electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Computer literacy for online inspection reporting.
• Automotive systems troubleshooting and repair.
