Service Technician – Cantera

About the role

The Service Technician for the Cantera property ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This onsite role supports residents by responding to service requests and prepares vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing the cause of defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance across the property to keep mechanical and electrical systems operating efficiently.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and procuring necessary supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, parts used, and time spent on each task.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders and maintenance procedures.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and lift equipment as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
