Service Supervisor – Nash Springs

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior areas of the Nash Springs community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position oversees routine maintenance, resident service requests, and the make‑ready process for vacant units.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues from resident work orders, adhering to safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process: inspect vacated units, create punch lists, schedule vendors, procure supplies, complete repairs, and verify finished work.
• Develop and enforce standards for grounds, amenities, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager on budgeting.
• Conduct monthly preventative maintenance and lead safety meetings, keeping MSDS sheets current and complying with OSHA regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with experience in property‑management or building maintenance.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices safely.
• Strong logical problem‑solving skills and proficiency in customer service and communication.
• Basic computer literacy – internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management; property‑management system experience preferred.

Required skills

• EPA Type I and II (or Universal) certification for HVAC work.
• Hands‑on experience with HVAC system testing, refrigerant handling, and related mechanical repairs.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• All state and local certifications required for maintenance work.
