Service Supervisor - Nash Springs

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance processes and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, and final inspections.
• Develop and maintain standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, order supplies, and complete preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist Community Manager with budgeting for repairs, maintenance, and capital projects.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with experience in property management maintenance or a related trade.
• Ability to diagnose problems, apply logical thinking, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, mechanical equipment, and safety procedures including OSHA compliance.

Required skills

• EPA Type I and II or Universal certification for HVAC work.
• Valid driver’s license (golf‑cart operation if applicable).
• Basic computer skills: internet, word processing, spreadsheets, database management; property management system experience preferred.
