Service Supervisor – Lease‑Up (US)

About the role

The Service Supervisor – Lease‑Up ensures that all interior and exterior building components, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality. This full‑time position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of the make‑ready process for vacant apartments.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing the source of defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Conduct routine upkeep of the community, maintaining the overall condition of buildings, grounds, and shared spaces.
• Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating necessary maintenance tasks.
• Schedule and manage vendors and contractors as needed to address maintenance and repair needs efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with established safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.

Required profile

• Proven ability to perform technical and mechanical tasks in a residential property environment.
• Strong diagnostic skills to identify causes of building defects and implement effective repairs.
• Familiarity with safety standards, building codes, and Greystar’s operational policies.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to complete maintenance projects.
