Service Supervisor - Fieldhouse

About the role

The Service Supervisor oversees technical and mechanical work to ensure that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time position supports resident satisfaction and the overall appearance of the community.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests, diagnose defects and perform repairs according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, unit interiors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by service team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ordering as needed while staying within budgetary limits.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures and assist the Community Manager in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience/training.
• Experience in property‑management maintenance or a related trade.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
• Strong logical‑thinking skills to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Proficient customer‑service and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Competence with internet, word‑processing, spreadsheet and database programs; property‑management system experience preferred.

Required skills

• EPA Type I and Type II or Universal certification for HVAC work.
• All state and local certifications required for the position.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property, if applicable.
