Service Bartender - Xfinity Center

About the role

The Service Bartender position provides exceptional guest service within the Premium Service Department, working in the Bars, Suites, In-Seat or Restaurant environment at the Xfinity Center. The employer is Legends Global, a hospitality agency that delivers solutions for brands across professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to team members.
• Deliver timely, efficient and accurate service of beverage orders.
• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes while keeping liquor controls in line with company policy.
• Set up, maintain and clean the workstation, and keep the work area clean, neat and safe.
• Follow product handling and inventory procedures, and serve alcohol responsibly under TIPS training and the Legends Alcohol Awareness Policy.
• Carry out assigned opening and closing duties.
• Be knowledgeable of other food, beverage and retail outlets in the stadium.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old; high school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Two to three years of work in a fast-paced bar, high-end club or restaurant.
• Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift and move items of 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, and to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull for long periods.
• Must be able to read, speak and write English.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Knowledge of other food, beverage and retail outlets in the stadium.

Pay is $18.50 per hour. Candidates must follow safety policies and complete company safety training.
