Server - Xfinity Center

About the role

A server position at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Ohio, providing exceptional guest service in the clubs, suites or in-seat environment. The role works together with fellow associates and other service departments within the stadium. The employer is Legends Global, a hospitality agency serving professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention clients.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with guests to assure their satisfaction and give them personal service and attention to detail.
• Serve food, soda, water, wine, draft beer and bottled beer.
• Work as a team with other service departments, clearing and cleaning tables and running food.
• Perform opening, closing and side work duties as assigned.
• Be knowledgeable of other food, beverage and retail outlets in the stadium.
• Follow safety policies and procedures, complete safety training and practice safe work habits.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Two to three years of experience in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant.
• Ability to work all sporting park events, including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, and to work with constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling.
• Ability to read, speak and write English.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to meet company service standards.

Pay rate: $11 per hour.
