Senior Windows Administrator – Platform Engineer IV

About the role

We are hiring a Platform Engineer IV with deep expertise in Windows Administration and enterprise application support. The role supports mission‑critical environments and tools such as IBM FileNet and DataCap, ensuring system stability, security, and performance across a complex remote infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, and keep systems patched and secure.
• Provide technical support for Windows‑based applications, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance and availability.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability.
• Develop and enforce security policies, respond to incidents, and protect organizational data.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system architectures, configurations, and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to deliver IT solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry best practices, recommending improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in Windows administration and supporting Windows‑based applications.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, infrastructure services, and security principles.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell and Ansible.
• Excellent problem‑solving, project management, and communication skills.
