Senior Web & Visual Designer

About the role

Sanity.io is looking for a Senior Web & Visual Designer to shape the next generation of its web presence and digital experiences. You will work with a global creative and marketing team to design high‑quality web pages, landing pages, product launches and interactive campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve core website pages, landing pages, campaign experiences and other digital touchpoints.
• Translate complex product messaging into clear page structures, intuitive experiences and compelling visual communication.
• Own web design projects from concept and wireframes through high‑fidelity design, prototyping, developer handoff and final QA.
• Create responsive layouts that maintain visual quality, usability and accessibility across desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Shape a scalable web design system using reusable components, patterns and shared libraries.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design intent is accurately implemented.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional experience in web, digital or visual design, with a strong portfolio of marketing websites and interactive experiences.
• Deep expertise in typography, composition, hierarchy, color and layout.
• Fluent in responsive, mobile‑first design, information architecture and accessibility best practices.
• Ability to move from early exploration to detailed production and implementation review.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Figma, including components, auto‑layout, variants and design system workflows.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript for communicating design intent.
• Experience designing within component‑based web systems and creating reusable patterns.
• Understanding of web performance, SEO considerations and modern frontend constraints.
