Senior Technology Product Owner

About the role

Covista is seeking a Senior Technology Product Owner to define portfolio vision, drive backlog planning and deliver new features that support strategic goals. You will coach other product owners, align initiatives with business objectives, and ensure technology solutions enhance student and colleague experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize portfolio and product roadmaps, collaborating with stakeholders to align with business goals.
• Lead and collaborate with Technology Product Owners, Digital Product Managers, architecture, engineering and service management teams to deliver scalable, performant products.
• Facilitate business and product mapping sessions, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely feature upgrades.
• Track metrics post‑delivery, drive adoption, and maintain quality of product introductions and enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of product management, product ownership or technical business analysis in an Agile, SaaS environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑initiative environment and manage vendor deliverables.

• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (ADO, JIRA, Confluence).
• Product management and business analysis practices.
• Business process mapping.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
