Senior Technical Writer – Medical Device Labeling

About the role

As the Sr. Technical Writer within the Sleep & Respiratory Care portfolio, you will create and update US and global instructions for use and labeling for regulated medical device products. This senior‑level individual contributor manages labeling projects, supports audits and regulatory submissions, and ensures labeling is compliant and effective.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain labeling including instructions for use, online help files, device labeling, and packaging for medical devices.
• Provide labeling support for assigned projects and interface with business groups to resolve labeling concerns.
• Translate complex engineering, clinical, and regulatory inputs into clear, concise, user‑focused content.
• Lead labeling strategy for new product development and post‑market changes.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing or similar, OR a Master’s degree with no prior experience required.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem solving and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with using AI and/or developing or managing AI agents for technical‑writing tasks (preferred).
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English, Writing, Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to perform required physical, cognitive and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
• Ability to cultivate effective relationships with internal/external partners and influence projects, demonstrating understanding of engineering specialization within medical devices.

What we offer

• Pay range $90,000 – $143,000 per year.
