Senior Systems Administrator

About the role

TechSur Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our virtualized and hyper‑converged infrastructure. The role focuses on Nutanix, VMware, and Citrix VDI environments supporting Windows and Linux servers for government programs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise Nutanix AHV and VMware clusters, including upgrades, security hardening and DR configuration.
• Administer Windows Server services – Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Exchange mailboxes and file storage.
• Maintain Citrix VDI (XenApp/FlexApps) images, snapshots and replication.
• Support Linux platforms (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and associated applications.
• Monitor network performance, firewalls, threat detection and vulnerability remediation.
• Implement and manage backup and storage solutions such as Cohesity and SAN environments.
• Develop and maintain documentation, system configurations and security policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to automate tasks using PowerShell, Python or Ansible.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise systems administration, virtualization and HCI.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues in both virtual and physical environments.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with cross‑functional teams.
