Senior System Administrator – Azure, Exchange & AD

About the role

MTA IT is looking for a Senior System Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and support of complex hybrid cloud and on‑premises infrastructures. The role is based onsite at 2 Broadway, New York, and may require weekend availability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain hybrid Azure/on‑premises environments.
• Architect and support multi‑forest hybrid Active Directory and Exchange infrastructures.
• Develop and execute migration strategies using cloud and migration tools.
• Troubleshoot complex client‑server issues across Windows and Unix platforms.
• Lead large‑scale infrastructure projects and provide guidance to junior staff.
• Create detailed solution and application architecture diagrams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of senior‑level system administration experience in enterprise production environments.
• Proven experience with multi‑forest hybrid AD and Azure hybrid architectures.
• Strong background in enterprise‑level troubleshooting and solution design.
• Ability to work onsite and on weekends as needed.
