Senior Specialist, Partner Growth & Development – Payments

About the role

As a Senior Specialist in Partner Growth & Development you will own a portfolio of strategic partners and the merchants they bring to Checkout.com. You will build new relationships from scratch, drive commercial and technical commitments, and turn those partnerships into measurable revenue streams.

Key responsibilities

• Source and engage new partners such as agencies, system integrators, ISVs, fintechs and consultancies through cold outreach, events and referrals.
• Win commercial cases by demonstrating value on acceptance rates, market coverage and revenue for the partner’s clients.
• Secure technical commitment, coordinate Partner Engineering to build and maintain integrations.
• Activate signed partners, map their client base, train solution architects and account directors, and register early opportunities.
• Structure and close referral, reseller and embedded partnership models, negotiating commercial, legal and operational terms.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in partnerships, business development or strategic sales, preferably within payments or fintech.
• Proven ability to close enterprise‑level, multi‑stakeholder deals and to design commercial models such as revenue‑share or embedded partnerships.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and resilience for cold outreach.
• Owner‑mindset with a performance‑driven focus on outcomes and revenue metrics.
