Senior Solutions Architect – Presales

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Presales team in New York. The role blends deep technical expertise with sales acumen, helping customers design and adopt sustainable IT roadmaps while supporting the regional sales organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across multiple technology domains to sales teams and customers.
• Deliver customer‑facing presentations on ePlus core competencies and solution offerings.
• Assist with account planning, opportunity qualification, and development of hardware, software, and services solutions.
• Author technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and develop detailed solution designs, configurations, and BOMs.
• Lead technical scoping sessions, generate Statements of Work, and coordinate multi‑vendor solution designs.
• Serve as a technical liaison with OEM channel sales and internal engineering teams.
• Conduct knowledge transfers, maintain OEM certifications, and identify new solution opportunities.
• Participate in weekly pre‑sales engineering calls, pipeline reviews, and customer lunch‑and‑learn events.

Required profile

• Located in the New York Metro area with ability to work onsite two days per week.
• Proven experience as a solutions architect or senior presales engineer in a technology‑focused environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to build trusted advisor relationships.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and detailed proposals.
