Senior Solution Designer

About the role

As a Senior Solution Designer in McKinsey’s Survey Development group, you will create and deliver online survey solutions that enable consultants to conduct fast, secure, and insightful research for client engagements. You will work from our San Jose office alongside a small, agile, multinational team that operates like a startup.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with global client and development teams to define measurable deliverables and act as a thought partner.
• Gather requirements, design surveys, program logic, perform quality assurance, and oversee data collection and reporting.
• Own end‑to‑end solution architecture across survey platforms, analytics, AI, and software engineering.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure accuracy, acceptability, and timely delivery of solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering complex software solutions in an agile environment.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
