Senior Software Engineer – AM&D ECG Solutions

About the role

This role is part of the Ambulatory Monitoring and Diagnostics Heart R&D organization. As a Senior Software Engineer you will join a collaborative, cross‑functional Scrum team within the ECG Software Solutions group.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript and Angular, following OOP principles and design patterns.
• Build secure APIs with GraphQL and integrate RabbitMQ for asynchronous, event‑driven communication.
• Implement microservice architectures on AWS, leveraging EKS, RDS and other managed services, and lead testing and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design and deliver new features while ensuring code quality through unit testing, code reviews and CI/CD.
• Document software in compliance with IEC 62304 and other regulated medical‑device standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack software engineering experience, preferably in the medical‑device domain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

• Base salary range $129,000 – $205,000 per year.
