Senior Site Reliability Engineer II

About the role

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer II is responsible for improving the reliability, availability, performance, and operational quality of production systems. This role provides technical input into project plans, schedules, methodologies, and operational strategies across multiple system environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead incident response, postmortems, root‑cause analysis and drive remediation.
• Identify and mitigate reliability, availability, performance, security and operational risks across production environments.
• Develop, prioritize and track corrective and preventive actions to completion.
• Support triage, planning, execution and documentation of changes, service requests and operational tasks.
• Design and maintain automation, scripts, runbooks and workflows for provisioning, health checks, deployments and remediation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience supporting highly available production systems and leading incident reviews.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with cloud and on‑premises infrastructure, Kubernetes and containerised workloads.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux/UNIX and Windows environments, storage and backup systems.
• Expertise in monitoring, alerting, logging, observability and performance analysis.
• Automation and IaC using scripting languages such as Python, Shell and PowerShell.
• Infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and security risk mitigation.

• Base salary range $104,900 – $174,700 with annual incentive bonus.
