About the role

Davies North America is looking for an ambitious, commercially‑minded Senior Recruitment Consultant to join its Talent Solutions team in New York. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle for insurance, banking and other regulated market roles, while also building new client relationships and contributing to business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment from vacancy qualification to placement and after‑care.
• Lead client intake calls and briefings to capture hiring requirements.
• Source candidates through proactive networking, headhunting and talent mapping.
• Coordinate interviews, provide feedback, negotiate offers and support onboarding.
• Develop subject‑matter expertise in a chosen insurance, banking or regulated market vertical.
• Provide market intelligence, salary benchmarking and hiring insights.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and referrals.
• Maintain accurate CRM and ATS records and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Mentor junior team members where appropriate.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle recruitment within insurance, banking or regulated sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to generate new client opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to become a recognized subject‑matter expert in a market vertical.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
