Senior Production Planning Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Production Planning Coordinator will own the development of a 12‑month production plan for finished goods and components, aligning with demand forecasts and safety‑stock targets. This analytical role ensures optimal inventory levels while supporting on‑time delivery in a fast‑paced beauty environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate monthly production plans for finished goods and component supply requirements.
• Maintain accurate production planning parameters in ERP systems.
• Set production priorities and communicate availability timelines to Demand Planning.
• Manage inventory across finished goods, WIP, and components, addressing excess, obsolete, and slow‑moving items.
• Drive proactive strategies to minimize out‑of‑stocks while balancing demand variability.
• Build and maintain planning tools and files for scheduling and decision‑making.
• Oversee depletion of obsolete components and coordinate material transitions.
• Analyze and adjust SKU‑level lead times to improve supply reliability.
• Evaluate lead times across product categories and recommend optimizations.
• Support special program planning and conduct performance analysis.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in production planning or a related field (beauty/cosmetics preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and execute short‑ and long‑term plans aligned with business objectives.
• High ethical standards and solid business judgment.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative mindset with strong listening skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
