Senior Product Manager – Payments

About the role

Plug is an automotive fintech startup building a dedicated marketplace for used electric vehicles. As a Senior Product Manager – Payments you will own the payment rails and financial throughput that power the platform, ensuring fast, accurate, and compliant transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize requirements for upgrading payment orchestration and treasury platforms.
• Own the financial logic of every transaction, including equity handling, title processing, consignment flows, and fee management.
• Design and maintain the KYC/KYB onboarding experience for users and partners.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to build, test, and operate high‑value ACH payment flows (average $25,000 per transaction).
• Ensure rigorous reconciliation, reporting, and compliance across all payment activities.

Required profile

• Senior individual contributor with proven experience in payments or financial product management.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage high‑value transaction reconciliation.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams, especially engineering and finance.
• Comfort operating with high autonomy and direct impact on company outcomes.
