Senior Product Line Manager – SBU (Level IV)

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a senior professional to own product line management (PLM) and service product management for its semiconductor equipment business. The role is responsible for gross margin management, service roadmap implementation, and continuous improvement programs. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive product strategy, pricing, and customer site execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own product line management (PLM) and control, including service product portfolio and gross margin.
• Implement service delivery processes (sPDP) and continuous improvement programs (CIPs).
• Collaborate with SBU on new service penetration, renewal, and roadmap execution.
• Collect high‑value product (HVP) requirements, perform ROI analysis, and drive technical improvements.
• Manage regional service customer sites and implement cost‑reduction initiatives such as MCOS and LCOS.
• Facilitate inter‑company communication on pricing, spare parts, and product strategy alignment.
• Lead cross‑functional coordination with operations, engineering, sales, marketing, and business development to meet cost targets and operational metrics.

Required profile

• Recognized technical expert in product line and service management with broad functional knowledge.
• Proactive in anticipating business and regulatory issues and recommending improvements.
• Proven ability to lead high‑risk, complex projects and develop execution strategies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to address unique, high‑impact business challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and align multi‑disciplinary teams.
