Senior Product Designer

About the role

We’re looking for a senior Product Designer (~5 years of experience) to join Sequence and help shape the future of AI‑powered finance automation. As one of our first designers, you’ll work closely with product, engineering, and founders to design intuitive, AI‑native workflows for billing, invoicing, and receivables.

Key responsibilities

• Design AI‑first product experiences across billing, invoicing, collections, and finance‑agent workflows.
• Partner with product managers and engineers from discovery through shipping to bring new concepts to life.
• Explore how agentic AI workflows should behave, including automation triggers, user input points, and reasoning explanations.
• Move fluidly between broad concepts and tactical deliverables, from sketching new finance copilot experiences to refining critical invoice‑approval interactions.
• Prototype rapidly and test ideas with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Contribute to design reviews and help build a strong design culture at Sequence.

Required profile

• Experience shipping B2B products, preferably in finance, B2B, or workflow‑heavy domains.
• Comfortable in an early‑stage environment and eager to shape both product and process.
• Interest in AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Midjourney, Claude Artifacts) and curiosity about designing with and for AI.
• Enjoys ambiguity and exploring entirely new interaction patterns rather than refining existing ones.
• Prioritizes speed and impact over lengthy analysis and research.
