Senior Planner – Wholesale & DTC

About the role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Planner will own financial and inventory planning for both Wholesale and Direct‑to‑Consumer channels. This is a build‑out role where you will establish the planning function and work closely with Finance, Merchandising, Sales and channel leadership to translate company targets into actionable merchandise plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the 12‑month sales, margin and inventory plan, reconciling top‑down targets with bottom‑up forecasts and performing monthly and weekly re‑forecasts.
• Manage seasonal open‑to‑buy (OTB) across both channels, monitoring weeks of supply, turn, ATS and receipt flow against investment goals.
• Partner with Merchandising on investment levels, assortment architecture, SKU depth and breadth, and conduct post‑season analysis of sell‑through, margin and forecast accuracy.
• Translate demand signals and in‑season performance from Wholesale and DTC leaders into inventory allocation and replenishment plans.
• Identify early inventory risks (excess, aged, shortages, sell‑offs) and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform variance analysis and gross‑margin adjustments, presenting risks, opportunities and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 7+ years of merchandise or financial planning experience in a fashion or apparel brand, with exposure to both wholesale and DTC channels.
• Deep understanding of retail math, forecasting, OTB, weeks of supply and inventory turn.
• Proven ability to turn analysis into clear, actionable recommendations and to build planning processes from the ground up.
