Senior Physical Security Administrator

About the role

The Senior Physical Security Administrator is responsible for safeguarding Mastercard’s New York facilities, staff, and assets. This role ensures compliance with security policies, monitors security systems, and coordinates emergency responses to maintain a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with employees and visitors, providing guidance on security policies and visitor procedures.
• Operate and monitor physical security systems, including access control, fire detection, and CCTV.
• Dispatch and coordinate emergency responses for security incidents, fire, EMS, or law‑enforcement events.
• Escalate and investigate security‑related issues, preparing detailed incident reports.
• Issue and manage staff ID badges and ensure compliance with NYS Guard licensing requirements.
• Conduct regular building patrols and physical inspections.

Required profile

• Active driver’s license and minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background in security, military, law enforcement, firefighting, or emergency medical services preferred.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to solve complex problems.
• Physical fitness to perform building patrols.
• Ability to represent Mastercard in interactions with fire, EMS, and law‑enforcement agencies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with access control systems.
• Knowledge of fire detection systems.
• Experience operating CCTV surveillance systems.
