Senior Network Engineer

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and management of its mission‑critical network infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, and security across a global, multi‑site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support scalable enterprise‑grade network solutions.
• Administer Cisco Catalyst switches and Aruba wireless infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Manage Palo Alto firewalls, configure site‑to‑site and client‑based VPNs, and enforce perimeter security.
• Monitor network health with SolarWinds or equivalent tools, proactively responding to alerts.
• Lead infrastructure upgrade projects, network segmentation, and expansion initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate network services with cloud and hybrid environments.
• Perform deep troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex network projects in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

• Layer‑2/3 protocols: VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) – a plus
• Zero Trust Network Architecture, SASE/SSE concepts
• Network automation with Python and Ansible
