Senior Medical Science Liaison – Rheumatology (Pacific Northwest)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Rheumatology to cover the Pacific Northwest territory. The MSL will act as the scientific and clinical expert for Johnson & Johnson products, building strategic relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and core assets.
• Engage in two‑way scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs to identify trends, unmet needs, and educational gaps.
• Provide balanced, non‑promotional scientific information and education to healthcare professionals.
• Collect and submit high‑quality actionable insights to inform medical strategy and asset planning.
• Support investigator‑initiated studies by facilitating scientific exchange and connecting investigators with internal research processes.

Required profile

• Doctorate level degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) with post‑graduate experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an MSL, with demonstrated success in scientific engagement.
• Strong scientific acumen in immunology/rheumatology and ability to stay current with treatment landscape trends.
