Senior Medical Science Liaison – Neuroimmunology (NYC/NJ)

About the role

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will serve as a scientific bridge between Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine and external opinion leaders in neuroimmunology across the NYC/NJ region. You will provide balanced, objective scientific information, support research initiatives, and help shape the strategic direction of our neuroimmunology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, healthcare providers (MD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm.D.) and manage a geographic territory through virtual and in‑person engagements.
• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan that includes educational activities, presentations, and collaborations with institutions and community practices.
• Stay current on scientific and treatment trends, provide research support for company‑initiated and investigator‑initiated studies, and ensure all activities comply with regulatory and compliance guidelines.
• Travel up to 60% of the time, primarily within the assigned geography, to support healthcare providers and patients.

Required profile

• PharmD, PhD, MD, NP or PA with at least 2 + years of relevant neurology, immunology and/or neuromuscular experience.
• 2‑4 years of MSL experience or equivalent clinical/research/pharma experience.
• Ability to travel extensively (≈60%) and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated scientific acumen and strong stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.

• Significant experience delivering scientific presentations.
