Senior Manufacturing Supervisor

About the role

3M is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team of manufacturing engineers at its Hutchinson, MN site. You will collaborate with global 3Mers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure high‑quality production in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a team of manufacturing engineers and hourly personnel.
• Support safe and efficient manufacturing of quality products.
• Align engineering deliverables with plant goals and timelines.
• Develop technical capabilities of the operational manufacturing engineering team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline from an accredited institution.
• At least five years of combined engineering and/or manufacturing experience in private, public, government, or military settings.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and supervising manufacturing engineers.
