Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

About the role

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation is seeking a senior manager to lead the development and execution of the foundry’s outsourcing strategy, while overseeing critical supplier and service‑provider relationships that support manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the outsourcing strategy, evaluating make‑versus‑buy decisions and building business cases for external services.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers, contractors and outsourced service providers, establishing SLAs, KPIs and conducting regular performance reviews.
• Coordinate vendor support for production schedules, maintenance activities, capital projects and plant expansions to maximize equipment uptime.
• Lead contract negotiations, renewals and pricing discussions, ensuring compliance and cost‑control.
• Partner with EHS, Quality and Engineering teams to enforce safety, environmental and quality standards for all third‑party providers.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, cost‑reduction opportunities and operational efficiencies through strategic partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Manufacturing or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, strategic sourcing, supplier management or related disciplines, preferably in a foundry or heavy‑industrial environment.
• Proven track record of managing contractor relationships, negotiating complex service agreements and delivering measurable cost savings.
