Senior Manager Global Procurement – Corporate & Professional Services

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Global Procurement for Corporate and Professional Services. This senior position oversees sourcing and supplier management for travel, translation, insurance, cash handling, HR services and related categories, ensuring value, risk mitigation and a high‑quality employee experience worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi‑year category strategies for travel, translation, insurance, cash, HR and other professional services.
• Translate business demand into sourcing plans, conduct market analysis and create sourcing guides.
• Lead complex, high‑value sourcing initiatives from RFx through negotiation, award and implementation.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier ecosystems to achieve cost savings, service improvements and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with People & Culture, Finance, Legal, Risk & Compliance and country programs to align procurement activities.
• Provide governance, reporting and compliance oversight for all procurement activities.
• Mentor and develop a team of procurement professionals.

Required profile

• Significant experience in global procurement or category management, preferably in a nonprofit or international organization.
• Proven track record of leading high‑value sourcing projects and negotiating complex contracts.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse functions.
• Ability to influence decisions at senior leadership levels.
