Senior Manager, Finance Systems - Treasury

About the role

Anthropic is building a production‑grade treasury technology platform to support its growing financial operations. As Senior Manager of Finance Systems – Treasury, you will lead the design, automation, and integration of treasury processes, turning complex manual workflows into scalable, AI‑enhanced solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the target‑state architecture for treasury technology, including data models, tables, pipelines, and governance.
• Lead the build‑vs‑buy evaluation for a Treasury Management System, overseeing vendor selection or internal development.
• Design a multi‑year roadmap that prioritises foundational work before dependent capabilities.
• Own the product roadmap for cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, cash flash reporting, bank account management, and payment workflows.
• Develop Claude‑powered agents and dashboards that automate manual treasury tasks, enabling a lean team to operate at scale.
• Integrate treasury technology with the broader Finance data lake, ERP, banking partners, and vendor systems to ensure a governed data ecosystem.
• Act as the bridge between Treasury business owners and Finance Systems engineering, translating operational needs into clear product specifications and delivering them to production.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in finance systems, treasury technology, or related financial operations.
• Strong track record of designing and delivering large‑scale, data‑driven platforms.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and making strategic build‑vs‑buy decisions.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into product roadmaps and automated solutions.

Required skills

• Experience with treasury data models, pipelines, and governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with ERP integration and financial data lakes.
• Knowledge of AI‑enabled workflow automation (e.g., Claude‑powered agents).
