Senior Manager, Distribution Operations

About the role

The Senior Manager of Distribution Operations leads the Distribution and Fleet department, ensuring efficient logistics for the South Brunswick and Lodi facilities. This role drives strategic planning, operational excellence, and team development to meet company and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans aligned with company and facility goals.
• Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct continuous evaluations of logistics processes, implementing productivity improvements and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Maintain accountability for operational performance, supporting direct reports to meet labor, expense, and customer‑focused KPIs.
• Lead, motivate, and coach a multi‑disciplinary team, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and company values.
• Hire, train, develop, and benchmark talent to build a skilled, high‑performing workforce.
• Collaborate regularly with Supply Chain, Transportation, Quality, Finance, HR, and Safety partners.
• Oversee fleet operations, maintenance, and compliance with internal audit, safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience combined with a high‑school diploma.
• 5‑7 years of experience in distribution, transportation, or supply‑chain management.
• Strong understanding of business and finance practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, managerial, and diplomatic abilities.
• Advanced presentation, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
• Proven leadership capability to guide managers and cross‑functional teams.
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
