Senior Manager AI Core Services

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Core AI Services team. You will oversee multiple Scrum teams delivering AI platform services, ensuring alignment with the company’s AI vision, strategy, and roadmap while fostering team health and career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery across several Scrum teams, managing planning, prioritisation, dependencies and risk mitigation.
• Coach and develop high‑performing teams, handling performance management and career development.
• Align with Product, Portfolio and Architecture groups, providing clear visibility into progress, risks and trade‑offs.
• Drive effective Agile practices, improve delivery predictability and enable collaboration across distributed locations.
• Maintain technical understanding to support architectural decisions and work with Technical Leads on design alignment.

Required profile

• 15+ years of software/product development experience with delivery leadership.
• Proven record delivering complex, distributed systems.
• Strong execution, planning and tracking capabilities.
• Experience managing dependencies, risks and cross‑team coordination.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, RAG, agents, orchestration patterns, MCP and A2A frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud‑native architectures (Azure preferred) and AI lifecycle, governance and security.
