Senior Maintenance Technician (Escena)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to support the Escena property. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common‑area amenities meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning and painting as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building or property maintenance, preferably in a multi‑unit residential setting.
• Strong ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Commitment to safety procedures and willingness to participate in regular safety meetings.
