Senior Lead FP&A – Procurement

About the role

Shield AI is seeking a senior finance professional to lead FP&A activities for its procurement function. The role will partner with supply chain, logistics and operations teams to drive cost optimisation and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain costs including procurement, transportation, warehousing and inventory.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as inventory turnover, cost per unit and logistics expenses.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses comparing actual results to budget/forecast.
• Support pricing strategies by analysing cost structures and margin impacts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
• 5‑6 years of experience in financial analysis, supply chain/logistics, cost analysis or budgeting, inventory management, procurement or sourcing within manufacturing or distribution environments.

Required skills

• Strong financial modeling and forecasting.
• Proficiency with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management processes.
