Senior IT Vendor Manager

About the role

The Senior IT Vendor Manager leads a global portfolio of strategic technology suppliers across hardware, software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, and managed services. This role serves as the primary IT relationship owner for assigned suppliers and is accountable for vendor strategy, commercial governance, contract lifecycle management, performance, financial optimization, risk mitigation, compliance, and measurable value realization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute vendor strategies aligned with enterprise technology roadmaps and business priorities, and lead executive governance meetings and quarterly business reviews.
• Own the full contract lifecycle for new agreements, renewals, amendments, SaaS subscriptions, and managed services, partnering with Corporate Procurement on sourcing and negotiations.
• Manage strategic software, SaaS, cloud, and hardware suppliers, collaborating with IT Asset Management, cloud engineering, and finance teams to improve entitlement, utilization, and cost optimization.
• Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, financial commitments, and corrective actions, delivering executive reporting on spend, savings, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders across IT, Finance, Legal, Security, Procurement, and Architecture to ensure integrated operating models and governance.
• Lead risk mitigation and continuity planning for suppliers, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, business, supply chain, finance, engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT vendor management, technology sourcing, contract management, or supplier governance.
• Minimum 7 years managing enterprise technology suppliers and complex commercial relationships.
