Senior HVAC Mechanic

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Facilities department is seeking a full‑time Senior HVAC Mechanic for the UHealth Medical Campus. The role involves inspecting, repairing, installing, modifying and maintaining HVAC systems, circuits and related equipment to keep facility operations smooth and uninterrupted.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install, modify and maintain HVAC systems, circuits and equipment.
• Maintain work areas and equipment rooms in a clean and safe condition.
• Respond to repair requests and keep daily logs of work performed and pending.
• Clean, maintain and paint equipment to prevent deterioration.
• Repair plumbing leaks on roofs and ceilings.
• Prepare and maintain accurate preventative‑maintenance records.
• Test and evaluate equipment performance using appropriate tools.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant HVAC experience.
• Valid Miami‑Dade County license.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
