Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer

About the role

SavvyMoney, a fast‑growing fintech serving over 1,600 banking partners, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack to join its hybrid team in Dublin, CA. Working closely with the Chief Architect, you will design and implement high‑performing, scalable backend services while continuously improving the site architecture and development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑performing, scalable, and available backend infrastructure.
• Contribute to site architecture, feature components, SDLC tools, and system design.
• Translate product requirements into robust, low‑defect code.
• Research and adopt new technologies to improve architecture and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor teammates, and guide offshore developers.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
• Manage complex releases and code management processes.

Required profile

• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience designing and implementing Java applications.
• Proven experience building backend services, distributed systems, and microservices with Spring Framework.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services (ECS, Fargate, S3, Aurora RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform (IAC) is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate across on‑site and offshore teams and roll up sleeves to execute.
