Senior Finance Manager – Remote

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager serves as a strategic finance leader overseeing the financial performance of manufacturing operations, including internal factory costs, co‑manufacturing activities, and transfer pricing. This role translates operational performance into actionable financial insights that directly impact the P&L and support cost‑optimization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly period‑end close and management reporting for factory and co‑manufacturing costs, providing variance analysis, risk identification, and cost‑of‑production forecasting.
• Coordinate the annual budget and dynamic COGS forecast, covering fixed factory costs, depreciation, and product‑related overheads with documented assumptions and controls.
• Develop SKU costings and profitability analyses to inform pricing, sourcing, and strategic portfolio decisions.
• Ensure P&L financial integrity and accuracy, performing variance analysis to guide future forecasting.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive improvement projects across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods, with P&L management and cost finance exposure.
• Strong foundation in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, month‑end close, and variance analysis.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, able to translate complex data into business insights.
• Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems and experience handling large, complex datasets.
