Senior Factory Controller

About the role

The Senior Factory Controller is the steward of financial governance for the manufacturing site, acting as a senior co‑pilot to the Factory Manager and leadership team. This role drives financial visibility, forecasting, compliance and strategic decision‑making for the factory.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and deliver cost‑improvement opportunities and lead continuous improvement projects.
• Manage and interpret factory reporting of actuals and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead strategic financial analyses for major decisions, providing full cost transparency.
• Drive business planning, oversee the factory budget and coordinate with head office.
• Develop, evaluate and monitor capital investment plans, including post‑CAPEX reviews.
• Coach and develop finance personnel, handling performance management and succession planning.
• Transfer financial knowledge across the organization and conduct training for non‑specialists.
• Oversee audit activities, ensure compliance with NAS, costing standards, statutory accounting and internal controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial operations with a solid accounting background.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Strong people‑management and coaching abilities.
• Results‑focused self‑starter with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to drive change and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment is preferred.
