Senior Experiential Designer

About the role

Gradient is seeking a Senior Experiential Designer to create immersive brand experiences that translate client objectives into physical environments. Working in New York, you will collaborate with creative, strategy, account and production teams to shape concepts from initial ideas through detailed design and production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts for activations, events, installations, pop‑ups and branded environments.
• Translate client briefs and brand identities into spatial experiences, producing mood boards, sketches, floor plans and renderings.
• Design complete guest journeys, considering flow, interaction and functionality.
• Create polished 3D visualizations and detailed design documentation for internal reviews and client presentations.
• Iterate designs quickly based on feedback from creative, strategy and production stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors and production teams to ensure design feasibility and execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in experiential or spatial design, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong conceptual thinking combined with the ability to produce detailed design deliverables.
• Comfortable working from early ideation through to production‑ready documentation.
• Excellent visual communication skills to convey ideas to multidisciplinary teams.
