Senior Equipment Operator

About the role

After company certification, the Senior Equipment Operator will operate yard equipment up to 65,000 lb to move materials in the Broken Arrow facility, working under moderate supervision. The role supports safe and efficient material handling in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other yard equipment with lift capacities ranging from 2,500 lb to 65,000 lb.
• Load and unload freight, move materials between shop and yard, and assist with equipment preparation for shipping.
• Perform daily equipment checks, preventive maintenance, fluid and filter changes, and report any damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized yard, remove trash and scrap metal, and ensure compliance with HSE guidelines.
• Visually assist and guide coworkers during heavy lifts and operate man‑lifts as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of equipment‑operation experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 15,000 lb repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, climb, work at heights up to 25 ft, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
