Senior Electrical BIM/VDC

About the role

We are building a specialised recruiting service for U.S. electrical contractors and need a senior electrical BIM/VDC professional to design and lead the technical side of the operation. This is a remote, fractional role that may evolve into a longer‑term leadership position.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical requirements for electrical BIM modelers, senior coordinators and team leads.
• Train recruiters on BIM/VDC terminology, software, project types and relevant experience.
• Create résumé and portfolio screening standards and develop interview questions, evaluation criteria and scorecards.
• Design a practical Revit/Navisworks candidate assessment and review shortlisted portfolios.
• Grade technical assessments, calibrate candidate quality and help establish market‑based compensation benchmarks.
• Identify the first 3–5 candidates ready to present to U.S. electrical contractors.
• Build a repeatable technical recruiting process that can scale.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in electrical BIM and VDC workflows.
• Proven ability to define technical standards and train non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of construction recruiting processes and candidate evaluation.
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed team.
